Use your body to generate heat to digest fat: Deep breathing, brisk walking, and coarse salt detoxification method
**Digesting fat by generating heat in the body**
(a) Find an exercise routine that allows you to maintain physical activity for more than 30 minutes, increases your heart rate, causes you to sweat profusely, and that you can continue exercising.
A simple and suitable exercise method for me is deep breathing combined with 30 minutes of brisk walking. I believe many people have seen the deep breathing slimming method in many places, but what truly impressed me was the method used by Japanese actor Ryosuke Miki. The principle is simple: while breathing, you engage all the muscles in your body, and the key is to use your lower abdomen (Dantian). This method can be done anytime, anywhere, and it can also improve posture and relieve lower back pain. Give it a try!
The primary method for deep breathing is to stand still, with your body straight, arms in a large, circular motion to stretch your back muscles. Slowly inhale through your nose for 3 seconds, then exhale through your mouth for 3 seconds, and then exhale the remaining air for another 4 seconds, for a total of seven seconds. The key is to allow your lower abdomen (Dantian) to contract. Repeat this for two minutes until you are proficient, then you can begin brisk walking. The walking method involves repeating the cycle of inhaling and exhaling for four steps. Keep your body from leaning forward, extend your back leg, and swing your arms backward parallel to your shoulders, using the twisting motion of your body to swing your arms. Once you are more proficient, you can change the way your arms twist to exercise different parts of your body.
(ii) Take a sweating bath at least twice a week, adding coarse salt to promote metabolism and detoxification.
Coarse salt is rich in about 60 kinds of minerals and trace elements from the sea, and it's a very useful product in my household. You can buy coarse salt at any grain store; there's no need for the expensive, elaborately packaged coarse salt from the supermarket. Natural coarse salt is cheap and effective, and my family usually buys ten or twenty kilograms to keep on hand. Let me introduce it to you in detail below~ (Some of the information below is from the internet, but I have personally verified its effectiveness!)
1. Demagnetization and purification
It goes without saying that those who use energy products or follow feng shui know that purifying and demagnetizing energy products can eliminate magnetic field energy that doesn't belong to you. Placing piles of salt in the four corners of a new house can also purify and ward off evil spirits.
2. Salt baths can cleanse and detoxify, promote metabolism, and improve circulation.
Coarse salt is the best natural disinfectant and antibacterial substance, and it's also excellent for softening cuticles. One of its most important functions is removing excess chlorine from tap water. Natural sea salt provides ample nutrients to the skin, and its osmotic pressure helps remove old sebum and dirt from pores and sweat glands. The various minerals it contains, such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium, can improve blood and lymphatic circulation with long-term use, even improving dark spots. During bathing, the minerals in the salt form a protective film on the body and interact with the skin through ionization, accelerating metabolism, relieving fatigue, and achieving a beautifying effect. Adding massage during bathing not only promotes blood circulation but also removes dirt and sebum from the surface, leaving the skin smoother and softer.
In my family, we take coarse salt baths whenever we experience work fatigue, poor circulation, back pain, edema, or even fever. The person who taught me about salt baths shared an experiment where long-term salt baths were used by drug users, effectively detoxifying them and even leading to complete healing of sores. Adding baking soda can supposedly remove radiation from the body, making it beneficial for people who have flown or undergone radiation therapy. Those who have used it report significant benefits. The amount of salt depends on the depth of the bathtub, and its salinity is similar to seawater. The ideal immersion depth is above the heart, and you should soak until you sweat to see results! If a full bath isn't convenient, you can soak your feet in coarse salt water, ideally above the knees. Adding coarse salt water to the bathtub prevents it from cooling down easily, so sweating is definitely achievable!
3. A glass of coarse salt lemon water in the morning starts the detoxification process and can effectively adjust your body's constitution.
Although lemons are sour, they are alkaline and rich in vitamin C and calcium. For people with poor liver function, eating lemons can help remove impurities and toxins accumulated in the liver. However, the fruit should be eaten immediately after being cut, otherwise the nutrients will be weakened due to contact with air. This morning drink can help regulate the body's constitution and boost basic metabolism, which is beneficial for health maintenance and even weight loss.
Add 1 teaspoon of coarse salt and 1 lemon (reduce or omit the amount if you are not in a good health condition) to 400 ml of warm water. Drink a cup of coarse salt water first thing in the morning before doing anything else. After about 10 minutes, start brushing your teeth, washing your face, eating breakfast, etc. If you have constipation, you may be able to have a smooth bowel movement in a short time! If you are not in a good health condition or do not like lemons, you can omit the lemon.
4. Coarse salt can stimulate the sweat glands and sebaceous glands on the skin. Massaging a suitable amount into the areas where you want to reduce weight can help eliminate excess water and fat from the body.
Washing your face with salt is more effective than using facial cleanser because the friction of salt on your face effectively removes accumulated oil, blackheads, whiteheads, and dead skin from your pores. It can effectively eliminate acne, and adding lemon juice can even help remove freckles. The granular texture of salt has an exfoliating effect, removing dead skin and leaving your skin smooth and supple, while also accelerating blood circulation.
In addition, if you wake up with puffy eyes, you can soak a cotton pad with salt water and apply it to your eyes. The salt particles can eliminate excess water and effectively reduce puffiness.
5. Washing your hair with coarse salt can restore its elasticity and shine.
Long-term use of shampoos and conditioners containing chemicals can damage hair and scalp, leaving hair lifeless. Washing hair with coarse salt can restore elasticity and shine to dull hair, and the salt granules stimulate the scalp during washing, which can promote hair growth. However, in cases of baldness, the chances of regrowth with salt are slim. Additionally, bathing a puppy with salt water and then combing its fur with a fine-toothed comb can naturally remove fleas and reduce dog odor. However, be sure to check the puppy for any wounds!
6. Teeth cleaning and odor removal
Brushing your teeth with coarse salt and baking soda can eliminate bad breath and make your teeth whiter!
7. Stain removal
To remove bloodstains from clothes or cloths, soak them in cold salt water, rinse with warm water, and then soak them in soapy water and boil. To remove sweat stains, add 4 tablespoons of salt to 950 ml of hot water and place the stained clothing in the solution until the stains disappear. For tea or coffee stains on cups, scrub with a handful of salt and lemon juice, then rinse with water.
Wooden cutting boards often retain the fishy smell of meat, onions, and garlic after prolonged use. Scrubbing them with salt can deodorize and disinfect them. If a pot is accidentally burnt, you can put some coarse salt in the pot and stir-fry it over low heat for a few seconds to quickly remove the grime.
8. The many clever uses of adding salt to food
Adding a little salt to the water when boiling eggs can prevent them from cracking. Adding a pinch of salt when making juice can prevent the loss of vitamin C. Soaking chopped fruit in salt water can prevent oxidation. Adding a grain or two of coarse salt when cooking porridge can prevent bloating, which is great for baby food. Adding a little salt to the pan when frying fish or deep-frying food can prevent oil splattering and burning. Adding a little salt to the hot oil before adding vegetables will help maintain their vibrant green color. Soaking tofu in salt water can help maintain its tenderness and prevent it from turning sour.
9. When grilling, wrapping salt in paper and placing it in the flame can increase the heat and reduce smoke.
10. Spread salt on roads during snowfall to reduce injuries and fatalities caused by slippery roads due to icy conditions.
In countries with cold climates, salt is often used to reduce car accidents. When going to the mountains to enjoy the snow or when the weather is cold and humid, you can use a breathable cloth filled with salt to wipe the inside of the windshield, and the frost will naturally melt away.

Most families use refined salt when cooking, but I still use coarse salt because it has many benefits. You might want to consider using it!
(III) Advanced salt bathing: 2-4 times a month for bedrock bathing
In today's society, environmental pollution, chemical additives in food, and excessive calorie intake significantly slow down metabolism, leading to the accumulation of toxins in the body. Therefore, detoxification becomes crucial. Eliminating these harmful factors is essential for healthy weight loss.
Through the introduction of my friend, Dr. Chen, the director of a traditional Chinese medicine clinic in Beijing, I came across rock bathing. Rock baths use various minerals, and the germanium minerals from Dr. Chen's clinic are particularly effective for sweating and improving metabolic circulation. They not only enhance metabolism and provide deep internal massage, but also easily expel accumulated toxins from the body. Lying on a rock bath every week is a great way for me to rejuvenate. I feel that it not only metabolizes toxins in my body but also soothes my mind, achieving both detoxification and stress relief.
